It is a web application which can be accessed from anywhere and anytime with the help of internet connection.
It is a user friendly application which can be used by anyone who has basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.
It is a secure application which can be accessed only by authorized users with the help of username and password.
It is a cost effective application which can be used by small and medium scale businesses, freelancers, students, etc. for managing their accounts and inventory.
It is a feature rich application which provides various features such as generating Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Trial Balance, Ledger Statements, Stock Statements, managing accounts
such as creating accounts, altering accounts, year end closings, changing financial year etc.
Bookkeeping logic is based on the principles of double entry system of accounting and follows the standard accounting practices and conventions.
How to use the application?
After successful Logout or first time visit you will see following links at the top row of the page (Which is Dashboard):-
1. TRG# Accounting : upon clicking this link you will be directed to the Instructions page
2. Register : upon clicking this link you will be directed to the Registration page
3. Login : upon clicking this link you will be directed to the Login page
After successful Login your Dashboard will change to show the following links at the top row of the page:-
1. TRG# Accounting : upon clicking this link you will be directed to the Introduction and instructions page
2. Reports : Click this to see reports such as Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Trial balance, Ledger Statements, Stock statements
3. Vouchers Entries : Click this to create vouchers for Payments, Receipts, Purchase, Sales and Journals
4. Accounts : upon clicking this you can manage your Accounts such as can Create Accounts or Alter Accounts
- a. Create Accounts : for creating new Ledgers, Groups, Items and creating opening stocks
b. Alter Accounts : for modifying existing Accounts such as renaming, changing categories, etc.
c. Year End Closings : for closing the books at the end of the financial year and opening new ones
5. Change FY : for changing the financial year (FY) to view or work with range of dates
6. Company Name : shows the name of the company or firm or your own name for which you are using the application
7. Log Out : for logging out of the application
Notes :-
1. Default Groups and Ledgers are auto created at the time of Registration
2. You need to create your own Ledgers for normal operations (with opening balances if any otherwise left blank)
3. You also need to create your own Items for recording purchase and sales transactions
4. If you are carrying opening stock then only you should "Create Opening Stock" otherwise default opening stock will be treated as "0"
5. In process of creating opening stock the new stock items will be automatically created for your inputted items (if any).
Registration Process:-
1. Click on "Register" link at the top row of the page (Dashboard)
2. During the registration process, you will be prompted to set up your account preferences.
3. Choose your own "UserName" , "Password" and Name of your "Comapany" or "Firm" or your own "Name"
4. The "Access Code" is a secret code which will be provided to you by the developer (via email) before you can register.
5. Contact the developer for any queries, feedback, suggestions, etc.
